There will be signs, black arrows on yellow boards and there will be yellow paint marking in the road. Sometimes signs are stolen or turned by unhelpful people so take appropriate precautions.
There will be a photographer out on route – smile please!

Cautionary and other notes for the route
- In general the route favours country lanes and picturesque views in Surrey , Kent and Sussex. In order to connect some of the best lanes you will occasionally cross or ride busy A roads where it is advised that you take all precautions and ride single file
- The course features some steep climbs and descents and unless you know the roads take particular care when descending. These include Gangers Hill, Ide Hill, Yours Hill, Tilburstow Hill and Hilltop Lane
- The course offers an options short disused railway section or alternatively the adjacent road may be ridden – both will be signposted
