Cycle2002

For the first time in ten years London played host to a major cycle show in September 2002. Naturally being held just a few miles up the road from us meant that Addiscombe were going along mob handed to see what was on offer.

The main attraction for me was the chance to finally see David Duffield in the flesh but it turned out there was also a lot of other stuff up there worth seeing.

A lot of the stock photos will be adorning the regular sites and magazines but these were a few of the ones we got.

Cipollini's Giro prologue bike. Notice 'special' artwork on the top tube

Cipo's bike again. He must be at least 6'2" as it was a pretty large bike. It also had a furry seat.

There were a lot of cruisers and choppers on display. This one was going for £6 grand (!)

I took pictures of it so that if ever I learn to braze I'll have some ideas of what I want to build!

Original 70s mtb pioneer and all round good guy Keith Bontrager was on the Singletrackworld stand

Kelli Salone! I got my photo taken with Kelli Sallone! Look how tight she's holding me. I think she's keen!
