Dinner 2002 Pictures
Having just got back from the great ACC
dinner and prize presentation I thought I'd share the crappy webcam
quality pictures with those that couldn't make it. The evening was a great
success with good food, good company and loads of medals and trophies
given out for all sorts of reasons to all sorts of people. As with all ACC
stuff it isn't just the fastest people who are the winners.
The next dinner is penciled in for January
2004 (!) but expect to see a few more parties organised throughout the
rest of the year.

The long tables and fancy cutlery made it seem very posh
The tables were sort of split to keep the yobbos on one table the sensible
racers on another and the older members safely on their own table!
The mtbers came straight from downhill training with their muddy bikes
outside
DH Shaun was surprised to go straight to the dinner in his muddy riding
clothes
Tony Adlestone from 34th Nomads proposed a toast to the club
Monty got a trophy for all the work he's done for ACC

Keith Coffey from the BEC CC is super fast and does good speeches
Keith Butler from Norwood Paragon presented the Interclub trophy that ACC
won from the NP through gritted teeth!
Rik won the innaugural mtb DH trophy
This SCCU trophy was first awarded in 1906. ACC finally won it in 2002!
*I know I missed loads of people but these
are just the snappy snaps I got with my joke webcam thingy. Expect to see
proper pictures in the club magazine in a month or so.
