My First... Series
Addiscombe realise that for a new cyclist it can be quite a leap of faith
when you turn up at the start line for your first race and you really aren't
sure what you are in for!
With that in mind various members have written accounts of their first racing
experience in order to demystify some of the things that go on in bike racing.
They are all very lighthearted stories, reflecting the essential nature of being
an Agreeable Addiscombe member, which is cycling for enjoyment. Of particular
interest is former tandem world record holder Bill Paul's account of his first
ever time on a tandem where he shows there is hope for all us beginners.
