Addiscombe Riders Take Gold and Silver

Recently two new members, Robert Royle-Evatt and Linda Good, of the Addiscombe Cycling Club spent a week skiing in Seefeld In Tirol in Austria. The small Tyrolean town, has been the setting for Winter Olympics. On the completion of their weeks skiing, they participated in the Intermediate Ability Ski School Races. Linda took the highest honour of being the fastest Woman Intermediate Skier with a time of 43.12 seconds receiving both a Gold medal and a trophy. Robert against stiff opposition took silver with a time of 50.51 seconds. Pictured below are the two riders receiving their awards from their instructor Siggi. Hopefully their success will continue in the up coming time trial season. This will be Roberts third season but his first with the Addiscombe.
