Sandhurst Tri

Another sprint triathlon this time down in Horseshoe lake, after a long swim (was meant to be 750m but I'm sure it was further), felt good on the cycle leg and was chugging along at a good speed overtaking a fair few people. Got to the only right had turn on the course (not mentioned in the safety briefing), and the marshal was pointing/shouting left, so went left and while looking around to see what was going on ended up going off the road into a drainage ditch. Picked myself and carried on just lacking some skin and blood, managed to finish the cycle leg in 4th position, and only dropped two more positions on the 5km run so ended up in 6th.

Its a nice course with a few climbs and corners to let the cyclists put in some good times (even loosing two minutes with the crash still managed the fastest cycle split of the day), but the organisation left something to desired so probably wont be back next year.
