Ride(s) this week.

On road, off road, round in a big circle or down to the coast, we do the lot. We don't just do it at all speeds and for all levels, we do it Agreeably as well!

Ride(s) this week.

Postby Andrew G » Mon Aug 18, 2014 7:34 pm

Anyone around this week and fancy a ride let me know. Hope to get out most/every day for something, some longer, some faster, some shorter, some slower. Can probably fit speed/distance to suit.

Only caveat is rides starting between 9&10am as I don't want to lose the day with late departure.

EDIT: Thursday will be doing the OTHG ride passing Nona Rosa's c9am.

Depending what you fancy can probably do Thursday/Friday or both. Prefer an earlier start myself. Let me know.

[quote="Andrew G"] some longer, some faster, some shorter, some slower.

Seems fairly comprehensive

Great Dominic, hope to see you Thursday and can discuss Friday then. If you don't make Thursday but Friday is okay then we can sort out a meet, could do CSS to head over Farthing Down or Bletchingley as a mid point to head out past the windmill.

Hi, I've got a day off Friday and would be up for joining the ride if you're still going?

Friday:

I have to be back by 12ish so have decided on the plan for those who can join me.
9:30 departure from Coulsdon South, Farthing Down, Woldingham, Itchingwood Common, Chartwell....
From there back would be about 30 miles I think and can easily tweak/add from there to make best use of any time in hand.

Speed will be to suit so will wait or go easier rather than charge off with bums on fire.

Sounds good. I might have to shoot off or do my own thing on Friday. I have to be back about 11.30. Got an appointment I'd forgotten about

Forecast is showing some spits and spots in the morning, if it is then I'll still be going out but if it is raining proper at 9 then I'll give it a miss and will post here to say if you get a chance to check.

Great spin out with Andrew and Dom. Nothing taxing just a nice pootle through the lanes. Dom turned back early as he had things to do. Easy pace most of the way but wound it up a bit heading back.

Really enjoyed that despite still having a cold and firing snot rockets all the time. Cheers guys.

nice one Ant, I reckon we got the picture when you said "cold". The consequences of having a cold was the bit you coulda spared us ;) As girls say "ewwwwwww" lol

Didn't notice the cold Ant and didn't have to dodge about to miss the snot rockets as I mercilessly sucked your wheel demonstrating my lack of fitness when you picked the pace up, you were very discrete :) .

Thanks for the tow, you've developed a very smooth pedalling style Mr. Souplesse.

Yes enjoyed it, shame I had to head off. Got home with 10 mins to spare.

Glad it wasn't too taxing for you Ant, I was panting like a dog up some of the hills  Too much work and not enough riding.

Thanks to you both.
