2009 Richmond Park 3 Lap Challenge

I know all this training business makes us sound a bit serious but, well, some people really are into this bike lark so feel free to talk about all training & self improvement related topics in here

Had a crack at this last night (starting about 7:15pm) and posted 59.35. Thought I'd gone off too slowly but actually my lap times got progressively slower after the first lap of 19:15.

There was a nagging headwind on the drag up to Richmond, and I got seriously held up by cars on the section between Robin Hood and Roehampton. But them's the breaks - it was all good fun and gives me something to chip away at.

There was a nagging headwind on the drag up to Richmond,

I'm sick and tired of this fecking non-stop wind. It was good fun this morning though, and should be too riding to Hog Hill tonight ..

No immediate plans - but with our baby getting older and my employers offering more 'flexibility' in the near future, I'm not ruling anything out :)

I didn't do a standing start, and chose the relative cool of the evening.

See how that Toks is luring us all into competition with each other?
