Our boys in fast and furious cyclo cross action at Shirley Hills. Why are they all walking? The camera makes it look steep but it was in fact FLAT.

I love this one although I do feel a bit guilty here. We told Pete to do a big jump in his XC race at Beastway and he wouldn't because he can't jump. We kept on at him every lap. "Jump, Jump..." Foolishly he did a HUGE jump and was pleased because he realised he could jump. Problem was he couldn't LAND which is always a  requirement when jumping. So he crashed very heavily, lost his top 20 position and went to Homerton Hospital in an ambulance to have his broken collarbone fixed. Notice the special Shimano SPD wheelchair shoes and the x-rays balanced on his dirty knee!
