I swear these seasons are starting earlier, I mean I still have some Christmas presents to exchange at the shops and already we've got a team racing in a time trial. The Kingston event is a good hard event held on some rough rolling roads. Infact 2 of our 3 riders chose to do without tri-bars for this race and didn't miss them. With a bit of the course a la Paris-Roubaix I was almost wishing I had entered on my mountain bike! Anyway on a cold day Doug Rollins clocked 38.39, new boy Mark Cole was just 20 seconds behind with 38.59 and recent signing Steve Dennis got 43.22 All of them did really well in an event held this early on. They have all got aspirations of peaking around July 17th time so to go round that quickly was great. Luckily Addiscombe member Phil O'Connor was out covering the event for Cycling Weekly and managed to snap our guys...
