On Saturday 9th September we held our annual President's 10 Mile Time Trial on the Holmwood course near Dorking. The event was well supported with 25 regular members, guests, new members and even some faces from the 1950s turning up to ride. Not everyone was on typical time trial machines with two tandems and a mountain bike riding the emphasis is very much on fun rather than winning with the main trophy being awarded for 'handicap' time rather than actual time meaning that the rider who improves the most on the day is the victor giving the likes of the verterans , novices and even me a chance! This years event was won by Dave Fletcher who recorded an amazing 22:57 which gave him the best handicap time.
