Every year Addiscombe celebrate cycling club life and the drawing in of the time trial season with their annual President's 10 mile time trial for club members. This year, as in previous years, we convened down at Dorking to meet old and new friends and compete over our favourite 10 mile course and the rain that had been bucketing it down eased off as our riders went off to battle. I wasn't competing this year so got to have a good look at the racing and it was pretty impressive. As well as the usual riders we had a tandem rocketing around the course, a couple of mountainbikes, a lot of veteran riders competing between themselves including some of Addiscombe's top track sprinters from the 1950s and a good battle on teh road for the women's prizes. I managed to get some video footage of everyone which I will compile and put up on the web at a later date but in the meantime i hope you all enjoy the pictures I got of everyone at the finish. Hopefully they go someway to convey the joviality of the gathering. Marco
