Time Trialing
Le contre le montre. The race of truth. Whatever you call
it time trialing is one of the easiest areas of cycle sport to get into. Its
just you against the clock against the course against the wind. Most
competitive cyclists have started off
with club 10 mile time trials. If you ever thought you might want to race
bicycles then join a cycling club and they will introduce you to time trials.
Addiscombe CC members race 10, 25, 50 and 100 mile events and even 12 and occasionally
24 hour events and members like to promote a couple of events
every year. You don’t have to have an expensive bike, just a pair of legs
that go round.
Over the years Addiscombe members have excelled in
time trialing and set many event and national records. A list of these
records is currently being compiled and will appear here shortly. In the
meantime get out and ride a 10 mile time trial and let us know how you get
on!!!
If you are in the south east of England and we have
whet your appetite then contact us and we will put you in touch with a
friendly local club who can get you started!
