Is this Cyclocross bike any good?

I am sorry to talk Boardman again but might have a chance to get one of these for a good price;

FRAME:
Super butted 7005 aluminium, BB30 bottom bracket, tapered head tube
FORK:
Ultralight Unidirectional full carbon fibre monocoque fork
GEARING:
SRAM Rival 20 speed, carbon levers
BRAKES:
Tektro Cyclocross Cantilever
CHAINSET:
FSA Gossamer Pro Compact BB30
WHEELS:
Mavic CXP23 rims with sealed cartridge bearing hubs
FINISHING KIT:
Ritchey Comp

Thinking maybe have a go at some cyclocross and maybe use it as a bad weather commuter, as using my current road bike can be a bit treacherous in the ice/rain.

Is it well specced compared to other CX bikes? I don't know what's needed and what kit is standard on CX specific cycles.

Opinions on the spec?

Looks a good spec, tektro brakes are pretty good and so are the Mavic rims on it. Gearing is normally a compact 50/34 or a 48/34.

Get a few spare rear gear hangers when/if you buy it as the rear mech can get broken in muddier races or through sticks getting caught in them and bend the hanger so it's worth having the odd spare so you don't have to order. Hangers are one of those stupid things that are nearly always unique to a manufacturer and often a frame rather than any kind of standard fit. Guy in Pearson's says they're the bane of his life.
