There are still Team Relay places available in the London Triathlon. Why not get a team together! The team of 3 consists of one swimmer, one cyclist and one runner with each team member handing over their timing chip (‘the baton’) at the end of each leg. This means you only have to tackle one of the three legs to a triathlon.

The event is taking place on 7th August 2010 at Excel, London

• Sprint Team Relay places are still available: £199. This consists of 750m Swim/ 20km Bike/ 5km Run.
• Olympic Team Relay places are still available: £199. This consists of 1500m Swim / 40km Bike / 10km Run

We are currently looking for Relay Teams to get sponsored in the event, to raise money for Sue Ryder Care.

Sue Ryder Care is a charity that provides care for people with end of life and long-term conditions such as Cancer, Stroke, Brain Injury, Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson’s disease. We provide compassionate care services for people with these conditions, in people's own homes, in the community and in our 14 hospices and care centres, supporting families, friends and carers. We also work beyond the UK, with fifty projects across 12 countries in Europe and southern Africa.

By taking part in this event for Sue Ryder Care, you can help us to continue providing:
• 4 million hours of care each year
• 1.4 million home visits to people in need
• Over 100,000 days of long-term residential care each year
If you are interested in entering a team in this event, please go to http://www.thelondontriathlon.co.uk/LTt ... yinfo.html where you can sign up for a place. Once you have secured your place, please contact Lizzie Helps at Lizzie.Helps@suerydercare.org. We can then provide you with a fundraising pack, sponsorship forms, and anything else you need to help you with your fundraising. [/quote]
