I'd be up for it!

Not that anyone has heard from me for years!

Whats Hillingdon like - is it flat?

Flat circuit would be good, 'cos lighter guys will tend to be better on the run for obvious reasons, therefore a flat circuit which favoured 'more powerful' riders could help to even things out a bit??

cheers,
Huw
PS Yes I'm over 80KGs at the moment!

Count me in if second claimers are allowed, but make it a decent distance. You can't have a 1 mile run if we are to retain any credibility.
The easiest thing would be simply to tag on to an existing event and give the award to the top ACC finisher.

Provisional format:

Hillingdon
2 lap run
15 lap bike (no drafting)
2 lap run

This to be decided on after I can find someone fool enough to run round Hillingdon and see how long it takes

2nd claims will be allowed if we like 'em so Jim and Rob C are in but no Chimps called Tony!

Huw.G- hillingdon is nice and flat apart from a small twisty rise. Hillingdon tri hold duathlons there throughout the summer on mon eves if you want to try it first

Hillingdon is 1500m so there wont be many (any) running 5min laps.

I think 4 laps will favour the runners too much.

There will be a few in the club who do 5-6 mins paul, and yourself will be the fastest
So say between 5-7 mins per lap?
i think 4 laps-12 laps-2 laps would be a good distance

Hmm - rather than suggest different number of laps and al that, I've a better idea. The fast boys n girls have to wear stillettos. And the slow boys n girls get to pick just who is fast. Sorted.

The smart thing would be to get your twin to do the run then create a diversion at the transition and take over...or vice versa :D

Blast your eyes - you've rumbled my fiendish plan even before it was even fully hatched :x

I notice that Matt Chapman has applied for 1st claim membership of ACC - which could have a significant bearing on things :D :D :D
