Dont take the title the wrong way.

I thought Id do a 400m TT swim today to see how things are going as ive got a triathlon on Monday. I thought Id make myself as slippery as possible, so shaved my legs for the first time in my life, wore a swim hat and 2 Tri Suits. I did a PB last week of 8:01 so was hoping to beat this. After a bit of technique work trying to think of all the things Mrs Snoop told me, I lauched HMS Hone into TT mode and did 7:36. I thought I must have got this wrong so waited a few minutes and did another 400m and did 7:33. Not exactly fast comapred to decent swimmers, but it felt easy and I was doing 8:40 before seeing Mrs Snoop so everything is going the right way. Ill have to try this with the wetsuit next.

Awesome, have to admit from seeing your first swim on the video when I saw you swim more recently I was very impressed. That is a very respectable time, keep it up Honepedo. Where are you racing on Monday?

Cheers

I am contemplating EG Tri, but its bliming pricey considering the length of the race. Good luck on Monday.

Paul

I'll be at Thames Turbo on Monday too. Racing under Crystal Palace Triathletes colours (sorry Agreeables but it's my tri club).

If I see you / recognise you I'll come and say hello. I think you'll be in SLH strip?

There are a few CPT-ers there but I think I'm the only one with a shaved head so if you see me you'll know. I'm number 411.

Good luck with the swim, I know you'll fly the bike and run. Congrats on the Nat duathlon champs too, Carl told me all about it.

Cheers

Neil

two tri-suits, maybe you want a second hat too - you know the yellow one I got at the tri show?

All over waxing next then Paul with a time gain like that :!:

Well done, swimming's hard work when you aren't a nipper who naturally floats as I recently found out. Slicing such a huge margin off your time is impressive, even more so doing it again a few minutes later.
