BRIGHTON (AND BACK) CLUB RUN30th JULY 2011

On road, off road, round in a big circle or down to the coast, we do the lot. We don't just do it at all speeds and for all levels, we do it Agreeably as well!

Had a super day in the saddle, went with the16mph group 19 in total.

Made it Brighton with no mishaps, managed to crawl up Ditchling..........lowest speed at 1 point was 3.1mph, thanks for waiting BUT the descent was :D :D :D :D just 51.2mph BUT may have been more as my speedo pick up moved on the spoke. :twisted:

We went back a different route which I would recommend to all, very scenic. I punctured thanks for the help and inner tubes guys, Mark cut his shin that wouldnt stop BUT Dr Tim to the rescue...........all sorted.

Tim started to feel the pace (average 23mph :lol: Bullshit) so we helped each other back changing the lead from time to time, just before golf course I stopped to stretch my feet so rode triathlon style foot out of shoe for a while. We found a lady to join us, Lorraine? I believe. We rode from the golf course back to Coulsdon, Sorry I had to have the cafe sprint..

Can't wait for the next one......

Thanks to all that rode

Great ride down to Brighton with the 17s and I think joined by the 18s at Turners Hill. A good pace all the way down and a really friendly crowd.
The only downside being I couldn't stay for lunch and a car ran over my peanut butter sandwiches - it's tough eating a peanut butter pizza on a TT bike

[quote="RachelB"][quote="Jon C C on a Bianchi"][quote="RachelB"]So no "Bragging Rights Jersey" This Year Commodore :?:

:lol: Hi Rachel, I'm not greedy - share and share alike, me - someone else can have the glory of wearing the coveted BRJ :D . but it's only on loan till next year :lol:

8)

Looks like our Serbian friend above, will be hanging onto the BRJ for another year, What with Wimbledon etc, :shock:

I don't think I can make the fourth ride this year so no BRJ for me either. :)
