Probably keep this a bit easier paced than usual. I've not been riding enough and the Xmas food and drink haven't helped!

Route is likely to be a loop out via Box then cutting across through Leigh, Woodhatch and Smallfield with a stop at Priory Farm.

We did not go on much further after leaving you, hope you got back home safely after your puncture. The roads were to icy.
We got onto the A23 and headed back to Nonas slip spring along the way,met some others who had cut short their rides due to coming off, not ACC.
An old club member mark Philips and his son send their best to all at the club, they enjoyed the shorter than normal Sunday run.

Hi Ron,

Only just saw your post.

Changed the tube and removed a big stone chip fro the tyre, but couldn't get the new tube to pump up. Tried another tube with the same result.

Must have still been something there, but I couldn't see it.

Got Maggie to come and pick me up in the car.

Roads were a lot worse than I thought away from the main roads. You made the right choice!
