Biggin Hill Sunday

On road, off road, round in a big circle or down to the coast, we do the lot. We don't just do it at all speeds and for all levels, we do it Agreeably as well!

I can't make it this weekend but have fun.

There are many places to watch the show from. I remember watching it one year from the footpath leading to Norheads farms (on the map below) just south of the airport. It's a hill directly in line with the runway. It away from the traffic but impressively close to the planes when they come overhead. Bit of a picnic spot, definitely not quiet though.

I should be OK to help out with this one.

I'll happily lead people there via the old night-ride loop to the top of Rachel's then along via the 40mph and the White Bear to Biggin Hill.

I'll confirm that my ticket has been stamped in a day or two.

Oh Drat.

I had forgotten that several weeks ago I had committed to taking the nieces to the British Museum this Sunday. So I won't be out to help lead the ride.

I'm sure Bob (AKA Bo-Gilly) knows the way to Keston, and from thier it's just a case of "follow your ears".

I'd recommend earplugs if you are going to sit near the end of the runway - especially if the Typhoon/Eurofighter decides to use its reheat for a rapid climb near where you are.

Americans have afterburners.
British (and European) aircraft have reheat.
