Sunday 11th

On road, off road, round in a big circle or down to the coast, we do the lot. We don't just do it at all speeds and for all levels, we do it Agreeably as well!

Sunday 11th

I'll be doing an encore of last Sunday's ride, but quicker and with a bit of a change or two such as a different start and the Jemima Toys Hill variation.

9.30 depart from Lloyd Park car park.

About 45miles or so.

Minimum 19s club run rider. Regroup at top of main hills. Sunday rules - i.e. fend for yourself if required.

Blimey, and I thought this was the agreeable club. More like Andrew G rules . I haven't been on a cr for weeks but I think I will go with the Saturday alternative cr, at least they wait for everyone and they always seem to have a laugh.

Yeah that's right with a rod of iron and everyone who's come out on my Sunday rides has a miserable time and rides around with a depressed expression on their face  .

Sunday rides are not club runs so whoever leads one can decide what sort of ride they do without having to adhere to club run etiquette. I make it clear if it's a ride that I've said I'll do what to expect so people don't turn up expecting one thing and get another, last week's for example was a "wait for everyone" ride. This is more of a training ride and you don't get much training done if you keep stopping and slowing down.

Lead a ride and post it up for people and you can choose what sort of ride it is.

I thoroughly recommend Andrew's Sunday rides. :D :D :D . They even waited when I got a puncture once; didn't help me fix it mind ... .

Andrew G Et al,
As the problem with forums, email and the likes, I think my comments have been misread. I certainly did not intentionally have a pop at Andrew G as per my 2nd post with the little  picture meaning that I was happy with his update.
Again thank you all for the informative information on Andrew G Sunday ride's. As Marco has said "choice is king"

No sweat, unless you're out today. Perhaps a bit misleading if you weren't about in winter but I popped up my Sunday Ride Rules then, i.e. unless stated it's an old skool club run stylee, so a more relaxed style and you fend for yourself rather than being shepherded round with set points of reference etc on the way.

Just Huw joined me today, which was nice for some company and to catch up again. A good ride on some great lanes with a couple of nasty hills and a strong headwind in places.

Addiscombe is an equal opportunities club, a short redhead and a skinny Welshman went for a bike ride - Perhaps we can get a grant  .

Shhhhhh, don't tell anyone or they'll come next time and spoil it. Good pace, flick-flacking between my Tempo/Threshold zones on the power tap for two hours  (which certainly wouldn't have happened in a group of riders) and just what I wanted after recent lethargy in a training zone I've been neglecting...

Couple of new roads, an ace new way up Toys which I'd never seen and Pilgrim's Way on the return was positively Belgian in that wind - great ride
