Awesome Tuesday Evening MTB Rides

Folks - I went out with a fantastic bunch called lovetoride last night. This is a group of people loosely organised by the wonderful people at astounding adventures, Danielle and Jess. They do a regular Tuesday evening ride in the Surrey Hills and it is brilliant! I just about managed with my commuter lights, all the others had some high powered beams to show the way. It was great fun, doing Barry Knows Best and Yogurt Pots in the dark plus a whole load more, ever been down I Should Coco? Well I don't know what it's like by day, but it's great fun at night.

Highly recommended! Check out the websites - I'm definitely going back for another Tuesday night blast - will post the dates I am free in case anyone can or wants to join in.

Sounds like good fun Snoop.

Bit too far for an evening ride for me though. Prefer something more local.

I'm off work for the next couple of weeks (well earned R&R before the students return).

So, the next two Tuesdays are not "school nights" meaning I can go out to play until fairly late, and these do look fun.

So, anybody want to join me? There's room in my car to give lifts to 2 people and 2 bikes.

Do you have to be really good to do these? I get abit nervous about yoghurt pots and barry knows best in daylight!

Would be up for trying this as long as they're not charging me for the "pleasure"!

Hi - well I'm nowhere near really good, I'm barely any good! Most of the trails I didn't know - weirdly the fading light encouraged me to tank along a little better than in the daylight! Although I managed with a strong commuter light it's not recommended, we did yogurt pots, barry and telegraph in the dark. Your eyes get used but a good light makes a lot of difference.

They do not charge, but I think they should. These are good fun well led rides. Look for love to ride on facebook and drop Danielle or Jess a line if still unsure, tell 'em Snoop sent ya - they've always been very nice to me - great sense of humour too :D
