Reminder: Tuesday Chaingang

On road, off road, round in a big circle or down to the coast, we do the lot. We don't just do it at all speeds and for all levels, we do it Agreeably as well!

Reminder: Tuesday Chaingang

Postby Phil H » Mon Sep 27, 2010 10:38 am

Tomorrow, 7:30pm at CSS. The forecast is dry, very light winds and the white-van count is low.

It would be great if we could get two groups again - one for the skinny, TG types and one for normal mortals. It was a good workout last week.

I'm in. Could everyone please eat loads of pies in advance so that I have sufficient bulk to shelter behind....

Nope, Tuesday unless everyone faked a report and this is an ellaborate hoax to get me to turn up at CSS and wait around in the cold.

I've got no excuses to keep me away from this - I'm luxuriating in two weeks off from work, so don't have to rush around like a looney to get changed and out again in under an hour :mrgreen:

I'm asking on someone else's behalf. Is it a chaingang or just a tuesday evening ride. IOW what sort of speed will the slowest group average? Thanks

Slower group would be around 18s standard. It's acceptable to hide at the back.

Toks, the majority of riders in the slower group are usually in the 18's on a normal CR. Might be a little quicker given the route but not much.

Edit Well done Phil, beat me to it. I expect to see you at the front of your group being as your going so well at the month Phil. Keep it up.

Toks there are 3 groups as follows -
A 19's and above;
B 18's; and
C me :D

But it is the ACC chaingang with an easy route along the A23 and back do if you get dropped like I did you can turn back early or carry on at your own pace.

So all are welcome. We are an inclusive club I think.

I was wondering if you'd be out again, Marcus - maybe if you can keep up, we'll get green lights all the time :lol:
