CLUB RUN SAT 28th MAY - WEEKLY RUN LIST

On road, off road, round in a big circle or down to the coast, we do the lot. We don't just do it at all speeds and for all levels, we do it Agreeably as well!

CLUB RUN SAT 28th MAY - WEEKLY RUN LIST

Postby Jon C C on a Bianchi » Wed May 25, 2011 8:06 pm

Dear Agreeables

I'm off to the Alps this weekend so won't be there for the next two Saturdays. Excited and just a little frightened - Colombiere, Galibier, Alp d'huez are just a few of the climbs I'm going to be suffering on - but it's the thought of those down hills that really put the wind up   :D

Anyway...

The proposed rides for SATURDAY 28th MAY are...

the Regular Club Run to Charlwood...

Return Routes:
Regular (Horley/Lonesome Lane/Earlswood/Redhill)
Boxhill:
Reverse clubrun: ??
Regular then via Rocky Lane, Fanny's Farm, Chipstead, Nonnas:

MTB Ride

Alternative routes/destinations:

PeteS -

SUNDAY 29th MAY

AMY - meet 9.30 @ CSS - to CLANDON or HORSLEY

WEDNESDAY 1st JUNE

Marco - steady ride around the lanes - meet 10.00 @ East Croydon Stn :D

Big ride for the Disagreeables today 4,126ft of climbing and an average of a shade over 19 mph :D
Were meant to go to Newdigate but wound up at Abinger after first going to Shere :?
Started to run out of fuel going up and after BoxHill but the pace was unrelentless today

Yes indeed a great ride set up by Chris, cheers for that, a good group and not once did we have to wait for anyone as we kept it together throughout the ride, due to only doing commute rides , getting near the end I was beginning to feel it in the legs. But the rain held off , along with good company a good day was had by all, the conversation in the cafe was very interesting, Simon telling us about his brother who is a skipper on a billionaires boat, and Noel telling us about his cat one racing days.
