Congratulations to V.Captain Marco and Messrs. Marcus, Richard, Hugh, Wayne and Roy and one other, I think it was Den
who turned off a bit early, well I would like to thank the Gent's for their sympathy as I took a mini hit just outside EC St,
( not paying attention ) and went down the tram line, I have scrapped both Knees torn on the elbow, one of my favourite jersey, and just hope I can walk tomorrow
,
However I had an absolutely fabulous day
cycling through the Kent off roads, - totally beautiful, after my mini hit, it took it out of me a bit, falling off the back a bit, but felt that I soon recovered,
I have done a lot in Surrey with CTC, but Kent is still the Garden of England, we had a most pleasant stop in Cake in Dorn Village, - ( I think it's Dorn )
the staff very friendly, the grub great, as we left Cake, the rain started gently, and we made it to East Croydon relatively dry, and as I had cycled from Heathrow this morning, I decided I deserved the train, plus the possibility of rain
O.M.G - so glad I did, at C.Jn the heavens opened as I stepped of the train, ( undercover
) was home by 14,30, with approx, 4.1/2 hrs of cycling under my skirt, and VERY sore Knees,
Thank you Gentlemen, See you next week
