MTB ride - Brighton to meet-up with the Captains Coastal

On road, off road, round in a big circle or down to the coast, we do the lot. We don't just do it at all speeds and for all levels, we do it Agreeably as well!

MTB ride - Brighton to meet-up with the Captains Coastal

Just a quick note to guage interest in an MTB ride to join theCaptains Coastal this weekend.

Rough idea, return train to Burgess Hill or drive there. 2 hour trek over the Downs and into Brighton for lunch. 1.5 hour return to Burgess Hill through Devils Dyke.

Easy pace but probably 2 longish climbs, bail-out at Brighton after lunch.

If you want to know what the terrain is like there's a few photos here.

Let me know if anyone's interested and I'll look into the details.

Aodan, I am very keen on this ride but am doing the road ride Saturday to Brighton, so going to have to give it a miss. Please let me know of any future plans as I like my MTB riding too! :wink:

OK, maybe not tomorrow, but there'll be more in the future.

Keep checking here for updates usually by Thursday for rides that weekend.

Hi Aodan

I'd really like to make the MTB ride a feature of the coastal rides - perhaps we could get planning for the next one and I can 'advertise' it a bit more in advance?
what do you think?

let me know
