First big ride on Colombia

First day of 4, SW from Medellin towards Bogata to Dorada. Briefly, after a 1 hour climb out of the city we began a series of fast descents with following climbs. Ended with 109 miles and 7,800 feet, riding through tropical forest with high humidity and 30C. Beginning to cramp at the end so had to spin out the last 20 miles but made it. Tomorrow a flatter shorter ride but good Friday is Las Letras allegedly one of the toughest climbs in the world, some 80 km up to 3,200 metres. Gulp!
