Ah I was wondering if anything had changed - I'll start off with the 15-16mph groups next Tuesday and see how I go from there

Being made redundant - yippeee! (believe me, it's an escape...) - and so have a chance to get out in the week and get some miles in :D

PS I will be looking for a new post, so if any one has anything suitable, I'm a good librarian and information officer (also knowhow) - ask me for my cv :D

Might get out on Thursday for a bit to the cafe.

Sorry to hear about the redundancy Amy, hope you find something new quickly.

Nice easy spin out with a friendly bunch this morning. More of a 17s but guess they go a bit slower if they have slower riders on board. I clipped off just before the cafe to head for home over Crockham and Botley. A nice 3 hours in the sun, yes the sun!

Looks like Wiston for me then - just please don't let it rain, at least till the mid afternoon when it doesn't matter so much...

so today's ride was fine - a litle rain trough Croydon but clear until on the way home - there were about 10 of us, I punctured then felt rubbish up Turner's Hill then got dropped as I paused indecisively at the top. Got to the Llama farm and after elected to return home alone via Hartfield, Edenbridge, 4 Elms and Westerham. Caught 2 deluges and some drizzle but not too bad and I was dressed for it - enjoyed my nap - crap summer though eh? http://app.strava.com/rides/13013404

OK, hoping to chance it for tomorrow

Fourth Tuesday in the month 9.45 Wisborough Green
10.00 Four Elms (Chartwell Barns)

Four Elms is only 15 miles from south Croydon so offers early return in case of rain which is potential later on

meeting at Betchworth or 9.20 at Nonna Rosas

First Tuesday in the month
9.45 Balcombe
10.00 Wiston

I'm probably going to Balcombe, favourite cafe and steady ride. Wiston ride usually tops 88 miles round trip from Croydon

OK, so off to Spain next week so need to 'pre distribute' my cycling hence will ride agan this week weather permitting. 9.20 at Nonna Rosa's if you want to ride out with me otherwise Betchworth at 10 but if Dave is leading don't be late! Thursdays are usually steady rides and Chartwell Barns (Four Elms) means prompt return to Croydon for about 1.30.
