Otherwise Coolings have two garden centres with tea rooms around Knockholt not to mention various others in the area such as Halstead, Polhill.

I can see a reasonable route down to Chiddingstone taking in a bit of Pilgrims'* Way and down Yorks to the reservoir.

Not totally sure of the way back - could go Newchapel and up or aim to hit Bletchingly from Rabies Heath Road direction

I'd say it's Pilgrims' as in way of the pilgrims.

Looking at the maps, we could come up bottom half of Gangers by Godstone then come through the girls' school. Or if we could head over Hever station, then to Edenbridge and come through Haxted, Crowhurst/Lane End where we can either head up to Gangers through Tandridge or come over Tilburstow to Bletchingley.

What happened to slower?? Phil was unable to make it out so passed the baton to me. Only 3 of us out, me, Robyn "I'm not fit" and Hollin (sp?). Decided to go to Chartwell Barns as I needed to buy flea treatment for my fleabag of a cat. Hung on most of the way round but died on way back. But I am getting better which is good. Met Alan Malarkey at the café - he'd gone to CSS for 9.30 to see who was out but decided he didn't want to do the cr route.
