ALTERNATIVE FALLING LEAVES RIDE, SUNDAY CR 5/10

On road, off road, round in a big circle or down to the coast, we do the lot. We don't just do it at all speeds and for all levels, we do it Agreeably as well!

ALTERNATIVE FALLING LEAVES RIDE 5/10
Weather looking distinctly Autumnal for the weekend but we can take it!

I am posting a different ride for 5/10, first Sunday in October. Some people have failed to get into the ride of the falling leaves so I am suggesting an ACC and friends ride based on Andrew's 2011 Sportive course.
Del will subsume this into normal Sunday ride you can turn back early earlier if you prefer to do the usual 50 miles
I am offering 2 groups, so 16/17ish mph and 17/18ish mph the first group leaving NONNA ROSA'S at 9am and the second at 9.15. but try to arrive early in case we need to combine the groups
Halfway point is Sumner Ponds at Barns Green where we will stop for a while.
The ride is more challenging than most Sundays, 83 miles and 6,700 feet but quite negotiable roads.
There is a GPX file on Strava - look for the Addiscombe club's STRAVA group and under recent activities you should see Falling Leaves posted on 19th September and you should be able to export it and load it to your device - alternatively message me with your email address and I'll send you the file.
The ride is free to all and hopefully will be fun
Let me know if you are thinking coming
regards
Alan

Hoping to make an appearance, but does depend a little on how well I get through the backlog of jobs on Saturday.

Looking forward to it.

Will probably just do 2/3 hours. So will probably meet you and do the start then peel off at a suitable point.

As I assume the rain will be heavy tomorrow, I won't do the Saturday CR, but the Sunday instead. See you at Nonna's then!

Hi Alan

This sounds like a nice option compared to a wet CR.
