Sunday 21/9

On road, off road, round in a big circle or down to the coast, we do the lot. We don't just do it at all speeds and for all levels, we do it Agreeably as well!

Well that was fun. Battled our way through thousands of runners doing a half marathon through Reigate and beyond. Dave K going well. Was enjoying my ride until heading back from BH when a stupid woman over took me and Tony C then tried to run us off the road. I normally try and keep calm about incidents these days but she was just thick and deserved everything she got from me and Tony.

Yeah, I got caught up with the runners - great fun. Mind you, it did mean I could keep up with the training ride until we got clear and then I hung on for, ooh, less than a second...

Went for a ride on my own - the most exciting bits being the suicidal squirrel that decided to dance just under my front wheel... and a homicidal driver who just had to over take me at the mini-roundabout on the Chipstead Valley road where you climb up to the High Road: I went left and they went straight on - he could've waited, oh a couple of seconds and I wouldn't have been 'in the way'. I had even moved out into the middle of the road but he still pushed past. Must have been late for church.
