Ride with a difference, 0830, 2/11/14

On road, off road, round in a big circle or down to the coast, we do the lot. We don't just do it at all speeds and for all levels, we do it Agreeably as well!

All done; 6 of us out and managed not to get too wet. One puncture (me) and tubeless tyres tried to work but the hole left by a flint was too large and maybe the rain prevented the sealant from doing its thing. Changed the tyre for an inner tube which wasn't too much trouble. Mapping worked OK with various sharing the checking of turnings we hardly missed a corner. Tea stops fine - Bow Creek Cafe sheltered us from the worst of the rain. We befriended an Italian nurse/cyclist on the way and potentially recruited her to the club. A little wet on towpaths but it didn't really slow us. Towards the end all were quite tired and it came on to rain. Muddy bikes and lights were needed for the last hour. Despite the weather a good time was ..... and it made a welcome change from surrey lanes.
