I have recently branched out my riding to off road on my cross bike. I am looking to do more longer rides at a fun, exploring kind of pace. My first adventure was a fairly successful gamble but borderline manageable without suspension and wider tyres which is only going to get worse/ exciting as the ground gets soggier (I may have done some walking on a "footpath" across a freshly ploughed and unrideable field). I also took cheeky routes but set off early in the morning to avoid clashes with walkers, see my route here: https://www.strava.com/activities/420239985/
I have planned my next route to have a go at some point so I want to see if anyone else is keen! It's 35 km in total from Addiscombe, through Addington to The Ridge then back through Farleigh Golf Club (gpx file attached). The off road parts are bridleways according to OpenStreetMap. I will be interested to hear if you have suggestions of other routes too!
