ALTERNATIVE-LITE this Saturday 7 May 16 to Abinger Hammer

The first Alternative-lite club run of the year will be this Saturday 7th May 2016 - WOW!! We meet usual time and place: 9.00am at Coulsdon South.

Heading off to Abinger Hammer. A few hills, including Leith Hill, we'll wait and regroup after climbs. Easy paced but you need to be able to ride comfortably will the 17s. We will be the first group off and aim to be back at Coulsdon round about the usual time.

I'm hoping to come along too. Fitness isn't too impressive at the moment, but hopefully I won't suffer too much!

I am so annoyed I missed the group being called. I was talking to one of the new guys and my hearing's still a bit woolly from a cold. Oh well, next one - I should be stronger from my Hebrides tour by then.

I wondered where you got to! I thought you'd decided not to come. It was a big group - too big if I'm honest but good fun. If we get these numbers next time willwill have to split the group.

When I heard you'd gone out with 20 I did think that! Oh well had a good ride with the 17s. Did the whole route so am getting fitter and stronger. Hopefully 10 days of consecutive riding with panniers will improve it even more.
