I did - never got round to doing a write-up ..
As it was free the event was massively popular and oversubscribed – the reserve list was longer than the confirmed entries, which ran out within 10 minutes of going live.
Was a great event and I would recommend it (it hurts like nothing else for 2 minutes, but the pain goes away quickly afterwards). The climb on Swaines Lane is not as steep as the more famous Toys Hill or White Lane, but still a nasty little one!
Poor Germain's legs died in the final, after having trashed the opposition in his previous two rounds.
