Catford and Bec Hill Climbs - 9th October

Are you thinking about starting racing? Ask about future events in here, find out what you can expect at them and who else is going so you can scrounge a lift off someone rather than riding the 30 miles to get there yourself!

[quote="John G"]Great day out! Best racing experience I have been involved in ever! ... I hope more Addiscombe club members get involved next year! :D

Glad you enjoyed it, I did them both, plus a couple more, two years ago. It's pretty painful training though if you want to do well, and didn't quite fit in with the cyclocross I'm doing this year. Maybe another year ..

Check out the vid guys! I am on there towards the end! :D :P

Cameraman Dave Painter came to the Hill Climb after hearing about it as being the 'Oldest Hill Climb in the World' and wanted to document this.

Are we on page 15 already? :D

I feel a bit guilty for John not having ACC jersey. I phoned him one day and he happened to be in GB Cycles buying ACC Jersey. That was the day when first design was revealed on the forum. So I said this to John he decided to wait for it and left GBC empty handed. :D
