There are two other clubs before us, which is why we have an 8 o'clock start time. Bearing in mind the available light and weather conditions, we will try and start as soon as the other clubs riders have started, so we may start before eight. Use of a rear light is highly recommended to improve your visibility.

We are also starting at 30 second intervals, so things move fairly rapidly at the start line. Don't miss your start!

Course DetailsG10/42

START in Spook Hill, North Holmwood, at PO Telephone Inspection Cover 30 yards from junction with A24.

Proceed to A24 where LEFT into acceleration lane to join A24. Proceed south to Beare Green roundabout. Take second exit and follow Capel by-pass to Clark’s Green roundabout (CHECK).

Encircle roundabout and retrace on A24 via Beare Green roundabout to FINISH at drain at north end of penultimate crash barrier 634 yards before North Holmwood roundabout.

Directions to the event are as follows:-

From Regiate, follow the A25 towards Dorking. Just before you enter Dorking, you come to Deep Dene roundabout, take the first exit (A24) towards Holmwood. Follow the road and you will come to North Holmwood roundabout, take the first exit - this is Spook Hill - and the start is at the far end just before it joins the A24.

As far as parking goes, we usually park in the National Trust car park up behind the church, in Inholms Lane (left hand turn, halfway up Spook Hill) - please park as close together as possible in order to accommodate the maximum number of vehicles. Or in the event of an overflow of cars, in an orderly fashion (so as not to annoy the locals) on the left hand side of Spook Hill road.
