Inter-Club TT against Redhill CC - 25th June 2013

Are you thinking about starting racing? Ask about future events in here, find out what you can expect at them and who else is going so you can scrounge a lift off someone rather than riding the 30 miles to get there yourself!

Andrew,
Eleventh hour post, sorry!
I can be a helper (my first volunteer job for the club!) - what's a Spottter?
... or a rider.
Tell me what I need to do if you still need a volunteer and what time I should be there.
Post back here or phone me if you want on 078 1705 2182

Thanks George but we are okay for helpers now. The spotter (numbers at the finish) should be supplied by Redhill but with the finish at the top of a hill then people tend to be pretty easy to catch their number anyway.

Ok. Can I be a rider instead? or is it too late now?
I am a veteran and pretty much one pace but not that slow (I hope!)
If I am too late, no worry. I will be there to support the club instead.

Don't forget we are representing Addiscombe in an inter-club match. Wear your Addiscombe kit with pride!

Did you have to settle the trophy at darts?

Thanks again to the organisers and helpers, could probably have done with another Pusher half way up the hill! That was tough with a capital T.
Would have joined at the pub if I'd remembered to put cash in my pocket, but didn't want to sponge - I often go out drinking in lycra so no issues there.

Sorry Jon, but it was much appreciated. It will have helped get you fitter :) .

Redhill gave us a pasting in the team competition but Keith did a storming ride to finish 3rd on scratch (1st ACC) and 1st Vet, and also 1st handicap in the ACC Club TT Series. In fact the only thing Keith didn't win last night was the womens. Robyn continued her good form in the TT Series with another win here, could tell she'd given it everything from the gasping as she crossed the line, a sure sign of having pushed yourself as you should in a race, well done.
