Hi Keith
Yes - I found it useful, personally. Fairly rudimentary stuff to begin with but as the coach said, it was the first of four progressive sessions.
The format was quite well balanced, with about 1 hour of indoor workshop that discussed preparation and so on. After that we went out onto the circuit and that lasted a couple more hours, so very good value for 15 quid. The guy who was running it was well organised and had a good style of delivery. He had 3 or 4 others helping him out and they all came across really well and were enthusiastic about what they were doing. We did basics to begin with and built up to doing a fun relay race at the end of the session that included aspects of what we had covered in the session.
I would recommend it to anybody else interested in going along. This was my first time at Cyclopark and I was very impressed with the facilities there. The coach sent an email Today as a follow-up, summarising the main points from Yesterday and asking for feedback. He also gave a brief indication of what we might expect in session #2, which will be focussed on indoor training for the workshop aspect then more race orientated training on the track, afterwards.
Cheers for the heads-up on this course,
Ant
