Continuing ACC's fine showing, I managed to get second in the cat 4 race today, just staying ahead of a last lap pile-up that took out half the field. Absolutely mad racing, especially in the conditions (torrential rain for the entire race), but a lot of fun.

I read about that elsewhere. Sounds like people were OK, but some broken bikes.

Yes, one guy was taken to hospital but later discharged. It was pretty scary to be honest - caused, I think, by everyone who had been sitting on for the entire race suddenly deciding that they needed to be at the front!
