Club evening 10 - 20th May

Are you thinking about starting racing? Ask about future events in here, find out what you can expect at them and who else is going so you can scrounge a lift off someone rather than riding the 30 miles to get there yourself!

Anyone thought of hitting the curry house just before the downhill to the finish (used to be a Happy Eater or of that ilk)? Maybe next time, I'll get a takeaway and sit on the wall outside to watch people go by

Mark failed to mention that he overtook me for two minutes when I was struggling up School Hill-managed to recover by drafting him somewhat and then went by with about 20 metres to go.

A bit naughty really. But a great ride by Dave and Mark.

Frequently, but my times would be even slower.

[quote="Jon C C on a Bianchi"]Thank you one and all for making this happen! :D

I rode to North holmwood from Redhill into a headwind and back with a tailwind. The TT down leg was into a cross/headwind. The home leg we had a tailwind. Whether it was a breeze or hurricane depends on how strong your legs were - everything's relative.

Dorking weather yesterday:
7.50 SSE 7 mph
8.20 S 8mph

enough to account for the slowish times?

Hey don't get me wrong Jon I wasn't saying times were slow, just slower than I thought as I thought it was going to be a float, which it turned out not to be. With my current fitness my times are slower than most! :)
