Addiscombe Members Circuit Race 13th June 2015

We have the Cyclopark booked at Gravesend from 12 to 3pm on the Saturday 13th June 2015

Venue Cyclopark - The Tollgate, Wrotham Road, Gravesend, Kent DA11 7NP

The current plan is to run two separate addiscombe club members races:
A) Novice/B race starting at 12.20, 40 minutes plus 1 lap
- The aim is to introduce people to racing. It will be a handicap if required. Registration from 11.45am.

B) An A race starting at 1.40pm. 1 hour plus 2 laps


Cost will be £10 for those without a race license. (As £5 of entry goes towards a day license).
£5 for those that have one. The event will be registered as a Go race with BCF, for insurance purposes.
Since this will be a go race, if you have BCF bronze membership and above No day licence fee. I believe BCF bronze membership is free for the first year. Though please check british cycling website.
I need entries in advance, so please post, if interested. So that it’s worthwhile having two separate races. Edit excepting Entries on the line.

However, Mr Ben is correct in pointing out that, as a BC affiliated club member, you can be licensed to race by obtaining a bronze race license (including 3rd party insurance) for free and no money.

You have to specify that you are in Addiscombe CC use the uber-secret special promotional code that's all over the internet which may be NEWCMRA

Well done to Paul Hone and Richard Arthur, winners of the A and B race, respectively. Thanks to all, those who took part. I'll type the full results up later. (posted to results section)

Echo the thanks to Ben, Phil and helpers, very enjoyable day out (now the racing is over!). Cyclopark well worth a visit. Let's get all the Saturday riders there next year.
