Race ruined by fake marshal

Friend of mine rode a club 10 on the G10/42 last night and on the return leg was flagged down and directed the wrong way by someone in a hi-viz tabard pretending to be a marshal.

I assumed that it must have been someone working nearby and doing it for a very hilarious joke but apparently it was pre-meditated sabotage by some tragic who has a beef with the organiser.
