Local cycling cafe, any views?

Dear cycling friends,
Following several weeks of refurbishment, The Old Gallery in Lesbourne, Road, Reigate has been transformed! We want yourself and your club members to come and check us out and see what we are about.

Maison du Vélo is a new experience in cycle shop representing some of the biggest brands in cycling such as Colnago, De Rosa, Merckx, Scott, Cervelo, Kask, Catlike, Castelli and more. We have fused road bikes, servicing & repairs, bike fitting, clothing, accessories, and running gear with a superb cafe serving great coffee and healthy wholesome food.

Maison du Vélo is a destination for all, a hub for cyclists to meet, talk bikes, refuel, or just chill and watch the cycling action on screen.

Come and check out the bikes in our ‘bike gallery’, sample the food, taste the coffee, and hang out! We are passionate about cycling and want as many riders and enthusiasts as possible to make us the ride-to destination

You can lock up your bike at the bike rack. Come inside and grab a key to a lock, or use your own. They can be watched over by our security camera.

We hope to see you very soon. In the meantime, you might want to check out our new website ...

All the best,
The Maison Du Vélo Team

Wow looks like a nice place, what's your coffee rating then Alan?

I don't really get the current obsession with French-sounding names for shops and cycling brands though - they sound pretty 'naff' or 'twee', to anyone who speaks French at least!

Looks nice, I think I'll swing by and give it a look. Hopefully the Coffee is up to scratch...

I dropped in for a coffee and look around after the club run today. Very nice shop, high-end bikes and gear and friendly staff. The coffee and cakes were very nice too! Probably space for about 20, so maybe good for a stop on a Sunday/Alternative etc (only open to 1530 on Sun though I think).

They've got notice boards up for the local clubs to use, and the manager said he'd be happy for us to use them. He said we could either email him something or pop in with a poster etc.

Anyway, nice place. Go and have a look for yourself!

Nick
