ACC Annual Dinner & Presentation of Awards 2014

Postby Alex P » Sun Oct 13, 2013 10:34 pm

A date for your diaries - Saturday 25th January 2014

This is the premier event of the ACC calendar where we celebrate the Club achievements of 2013, eat, talk and have a great time (the same as we do on the club run but longer and with food and alcohol!). It is always a great evening, partners and family are always welcome and encouraged. 8)

To freshen the event up we have changed the location to the Hilton Hotel Croydon, which is just off the Purley Way, great hotel in a very central location. The event room is larger than at SPH and we have our own bar area. The timings are drinks at 6 o'clock for 7 o'clock sit down and carriages at 1:00am so a lot more time to enjoy ourselves.

The price of the ticket is a reasonable £35 for the evening including a three course meal and coffee.

Last year we are introduced “buy your table”, with the idea is that you get together a group of friends buy your tickets and reserve a table, therefore ensuring that you sit together and avoid the rush at the start. We have table sizes for 8, 9 and 10 persons. This was hugely successful this year so we are introducing it again. So if you think whether you can get enough people together to form a group, get the tickets and let me know and I will reserve a table for you.

Tickets are available from Tim Coales or me and we will be out on the club runs or email/PM us and we will sort you out.

Hi Alex,
Have you managed to get a concessionary room price for the night of the dinner?
And Tim, can I have 2 tickets please?
Cheers,
John.

Alex,Don't worry on my behalf regarding a concessionary price for a hotel room. I have already booked one for just £84 which is no more expensive than Coulsdon Park was. Plus pleased if we have dancing too.
Cheers.

I echo Keiths and Andrews comments.

My first club dinner dance and it wont be my last. Great bunch of guys and a lass on my table. A really good laugh with a lesson in twerking, some jacket swapping shenanigans and I do believe Rich took home a little bit more silverware than he envisaged.

Brilliant fun. Thanks guys.

Yes, was a good night. Thanks to everyone who organised. And Alex, the vegan option was so good that everyone else started demanding it instead of theirs
