Cheers. Even closer now. Only a few more and we'll be there.

If there's a chance that I don't have a correct e-mail address for you, can you drop me a line at phil@addiscombe.org

Just checking you have my offer marked down as per our facebook messaging. Sure this is the 'official' conversation space.

Unable to help out at the Open 25 Time Trial? Fear not, there are further opportunities to represent your club and to help it put on local events.

2 further date for your diaries:

    Sunday 4th May
Addiscombe Road Race on the Bletchingley circuit.
This is stage 2 of the Surrey League 3-Day Stage Race.
    Race time 10:00-12:30 approx.

    Thursday 15th May
Addiscombe Handicap Race on the Newchapel Circuit.
    Race time 19:15-2030 approx.

I'll draw up a list of the specific rôles and exact timings later, but we'll need marshals, drivers, signing-on, canteen, finish line, signs, etc.

Without your help we'll be unable to put on these races, and unable to help the riders to race as safely as possible.

If you're unsure of what marshals need to do, I'll be supplying full details of where to stand, what's expected of you, and what you can and can't do. Additionally, we'll put anyone who's new to marshalling with someone more experienced.

If you're able to help, please post here or email racing@addiscombe.org
Say if you've a preferred rôle.

Thanks in advance.

And if you don't want to stand out in whatever the weather decides to throw at us I could do with at least one other helper with refreshments 8)

Also if you are marshalling - whether at the Open 25 or the road race - if you could let me know if you can bring some home-made goodies to sell to the riders and your fellow helpers - so much more appreciated by everyone than shop-bought :D

The list for the next two promotions is, as yet, a little sparse:

[/size]

The White Hart isn't far from that corner.

Canteen as ever, if there is one - will marshal at a pinch.

I would happily help as often as I can.
Is it possible to start helping in non-vital stuff before marshalling? I don't want to send anybody to the M25.
Not usually.
