Will a group of agreeables be going to the bike show at the Business Design Centre (Islington) this Saturday ?

Last year a group of us went. It was quite fun.

I'll probably go on Saturday afternoon after a shortened clubrun. Want to have a good look round and also catch some of the mountain timetrial at the Vuelta.

I'd be happy to come along at that time.

Can't do the club run due to nagging injury, so will have to meet up somewhere.

I'll give you a buzz to make arrangements.

My number's 07976 422394. What's yours again ?

Congratulations to Eurosport for possibly THE worst bit of PR EVER! Any chance of OLN sponsoring the Bike Show 2004? At least then we may be able to watch cycling on the big screens rather than the World Superbikes' qualifying session (qualifying! not even the actual race). Bumped into Duffers and he was equally perplexed and annoyed. Was good to see you Maria.

Yeah, it was pretty poor of Eurosport to not show the tt as advertised, especially during the bike show.

Otherwise bike show was a good afternoon out. Better than last year with more entertainments (fashion show, tdf 2003 film).
There was also a massage/complementary medicine section and a spinning challenge where you could spin from when they opened right through to the close of play for charity.

It looked fun. One of the local tri clubs (Thames Turbo) had a relay team to do this. We could get a team of guys in for next year.
FYI the spin studio was straight opposite the fashion show and they were doing a parade every hour for ~30mins. The people spinning said they were well entertained. Looking at the models I understand what they meant !

Nice to see you too, Dave.
