Dawes

Postby siwickm » Mon Oct 06, 2003 12:24 pm

I have just bought a Dawes Cro/Mo bike off Ebay, since my training bike got nicked a month ago I need somthing for the winter. Am waiting delivery but thought I would put out the feelers to see if anyone knows if it is likely to be any good or not?

Probably means I will be travelling a lot slower on the club runs, hopefully improve my fitness levels though.

Cheers

Marek...

I think Dawes make good bikes I have had a dawes bike since 1996 and it has done thousands of miles with no major problems. I think mine was the last one with campag kit but I'm sure the shimano kit they use now is just as good.

I don't know whether it has Shimano or Campag as not sure how old. Hope it is Campag, in the add it looks quite old so maybe has Campag.
