Steve and I will be down South for that weekend so can both help out. Steve has more experience of being in the cars, doing timing etc (not registered though he says??) but I've only ever done standard marshalling.

Put us down for whatever you need.

When and where do we need to be or will you PM us?

Regards
Jane

I Know it's a bit late in the day but I can now help out in the ACC Road Race.
Just need details, like where to meet etc.

Would be great if someone has a brush to sweep the gravel from the bottom corner.

Thanks

Well, that's all over now.

Many many thanks to all the helpers, those that let me know in advance and those that turned up on the day - it was a great ACC presence - thanks to Snoop of course.

I thought it all went very well - one rider collided with a car, which was unfortunate, but part of bike racing. I have received a message from him:

[quote]Hi,
Yes I'm ok. I have stitches between my lips and nose and some swelling there. A bit of road rash but nothing else serious. Thanks for your help and the other guys from the organising club.
Cheers,
Will

Unfortunately I have just heard of a complaint from someone in Outwood, but doesn't seem too serious, and unfounded as far as I can see.

The first 15 were
Steve Calland Norwood Paragon CC 2 02:33:39
2 Richard Prebble Candi TV Pinarello RT 2V @ 0:05
3 Daniel Felstead Dulwich Paragon CC 2 @ 0:15
4 Justin Callaway DHCyclesport.co.uk 2 @ 0:19
5 Stewart Martin Kingston Wheelers 3 @ 0:20
6 David Kennett Norwood Paragon CC 2V
7 James Stuart Norwood Paragon CC 3
8 Sylvain Garde Addiscombe CC 2 @ 0:23
9 Marcus Brueton Norwood Paragon CC 2 @ 0:27
10 Graeme Rose Wildside 707 RT 3 @ 0:30
11 Joe Hemmant London Dynamo 2 @ 0:42
12 Simon Warren Norwood Paragon CC 2 @ 1:54
13 Mark Perry Dulwich Paragon CC 2 @ 3:30
14 John Sadler TriSportNews.com 2 @ 3:40
15 George Brent Addiscombe CC 3 @ 3:52

and 26 Hal Bransby Addiscombe CC 2

From a field of 79 starters on the tough Bletchingley circuit.
Well done lads, great showing.

I bet it was to do with some bloke sleeping on a pub bench holding a red flag in one hand and a can of stella in the other

Thanks for your patience folks....I'm now back from hols and in tt sorting mode.

I've allocated tasks for the ACC 25 on 26th April as follows - please swap between yourselves as you like & let me know the outcome. If I've got wrong end of stick and put someone down who didn't think they were marshalling then please let me know asap.

Bit short of help on some r'bts where checkers are doubling up as marshals...

Many thanks

Tamar
