This circuit is either up or down with no flat to speak of. 3rd cat only race.

Rich punctured about I lap into the seven lap race. Then there was a crash involving a couple of riders on the flat. Nothing serious but the race org/com insisted on stopping the race while the paramedics patched them up. So after the 20-30 minute delay they took two laps off the race so we started again with 3 to go.

I went on the attack almost immediately, got a small gap with a couple of others but we were brought back. Race continued like that with break and regroup for the rest of the 3 laps and into the final uphill sprint I finally blew (had spent too long chasing groups down), Matt was in a good position for the sprint but was overgeared and finished outside the top 10 and Ash had a puncture with about two to go having looked strong.

Was actually a good race even if it was disappointingly short (only 35 miles). There was a lot of attacking racing and people trying to break away. Managed to win the sprint for 30 or 40 something place against a Norwood Paragon rider so can at least come home having won something.
